Leadership gets better with practice.
Practical leadership development for leaders and teams. Make decisions, communicate clearly and bring out the strengths in others. Get feedback. Try again. Take it back to work.
How you learn
Practise. Get feedback.
Try again. Take it to work.
Choose a leadership skill. Put it into action in a shared challenge. See what others experienced, adjust your approach and practise again. Each round connects to a situation you recognise from work.
Take the lead.
Brief the team, share responsibility and make a decision. Use your strengths and make room for the strengths of others.
See your impact.
Hear specific observations from facilitators and peers: what was clear, who was heard and where understanding broke down.
Make an adjustment.
Choose one change and use it in the next round. Repeated practice gives you a chance to act on the feedback.
Use it where it matters.
Choose a real meeting, decision or handover. Agree what you will do differently and how you will review it.
In a coastal team exercise, a change of plan tests how clearly you communicate. The debrief identifies who understood the change and who did not. You practise the brief again, then connect it to a handover in your own organisation. Activities are selected for the learning objective, conditions and participants.
Find your next step
For you. For your team.
For your organization.
